How Holdings Work

Keep track of your shares & crypto in Gather, with price updates.

Getting Started

You can add all your shares to Gather easily via a screenshot.

Here's all you need to do:

  1. In the Wealth tab, tap the (+) icon to add a new account.

  2. Tap Stocks or Crypto.

  3. Search & tap on your broker, or otherwise tap "Enter your stocks manually".

  4. Once the account is created, tap the (+) in the top right, and choose whether you'd like to:

    1. Add a single holding:

      1. Search for the ticker (AU, US or Crypto).

      2. Enter the number of units and;

      3. (Optionally) Enter your average price per share on the same screen.

    2. Add multiple holdings at once:

      1. ​Upload screenshots of your portfolio.

      2. Make sure the Ticker (AAPL.US) and Units are visible (optionally, the average price too).

      3. Once Gather has identified the holdings, review them & save.

How to add multiple holdings to Gather

Note: Gather currently only supports tracking the units of each holding.

Support for trade-based tracking & direct connections with more stock apps is on the way soon (see our Roadmap).​
